Pune: The briefly closed multinational auto part maker on the Chakan industrial property resumed its operations on Tuesday with restricted manpower, said a senior govt of the company.
The company had suspended its operations on Saturday evening after 120 of its staff examined optimistic for Covid-19.
“We are operating in two shifts with about 25% of manpower. We shall have to work in this manner till the situation normalizes, which will take at least two to three weeks,” the senior govt of the company said.
The firm has bought pulse oximeter to check the oxygen-level of its staff on the firm’s entrance.
“We are monitoring the containment zones so that no employee from these zones reports to work. We are also taking self-declaration from them,” he said, including that every one the workers testing Covid-19 optimistic have been fantastic.
A senior official from the health division of Khed tehsil said they inspected the affected sections of the company on Monday. “The company has sanitized all sections as per the government’s protocol and can run operations with available manpower,” said BB Gadve, the health officer of Khed tehsil.
