Supreme Court to hear applications in BCCI matter after two weeks

The bench said these applications can be taken up for listening to after two weeks.

Recently, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has additionally moved the highest court docket searching for modification of its 2016 order and to allow it to yearly or biennially undertake monetary, compliance and efficiency audit of the BCCI and state cricket associations.

In its July 18, 2016 order, the apex court docket had agreed with Justice Lodha committee’s suggestion to embrace a nominee of CAG as a member of BCCI, saying it could carry in transparency and monetary oversight into the affairs of the nationwide governing physique for cricket.
