UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 Result: Pradeep Singh tops exam, check toppers list

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 Result: Pradeep Singh topped the UPSC civil providers examination 2019, the outcomes of which have been declared on Tuesday. Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma have secured second and third positions respectively.

The fee has recommended 829 candidates for appointment. The list of candidates who’ve certified the UPSC civil providers 2019 examination will be checked online at upsc.gov.in.

Out of the highest 25 rank holders within the UPSC civil providers remaining examination 2019,13 are male whereas 12 are feminine.

The candidature of 66 recommended candidates is “provisional” whereas the results of 11 candidates has been saved “withheld”, acknowledged the press note issued by the Press Information Burea (PIB).

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted, “Congratulations to all successful candidates of the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019. May you have a bright future in serving the people of our great nation. Those who didn’t qualify, try harder. With determination, you shall succeed.” 

The fee conducts the Civil Services examination each year for choice of candidates to Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Other Central Services.

The Civil Services Examination is carried out in two successive phases: 1) Preliminary (goal sort) for the choice of candidates for the principle examination 2) Civil Services (Main) Examination (written and interview) for the choice of candidates for the varied Services and posts introduced.
